Best AI Girlfriend App: Candy AI
Candy AI is our favourite AI girlfriend app. It runs as a web app, so it works the same on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac, with your chats synced across devices. You get a detailed character builder, chat memory, voice messages, images and AI video in one place.
Why the best AI girlfriend apps run in the browser
Apple and Google have strict rules for apps with romantic or mature content. As a result, many native AI girlfriend apps in the stores are heavily filtered, and the most complete services run as web apps instead. A web app also has practical advantages:
- Nothing to download and no storage used on your phone
- Same features on every device, with your chats synced
- Updates arrive instantly, without waiting for app store review
- No app icon labelled with the service name unless you add one

Privacy checklist before you install any AI girlfriend app
- Is there a clear privacy policy and a named company behind it?
- Does it use HTTPS / encrypted connections?
- Does it ask for permissions it does not need (contacts, location)?
- Is billing discreet, and is cancelling easy to find?
Candy AI passes these checks: it is run by EverAI Limited (Malta), uses TLS encryption, follows GDPR-based privacy standards and bills under a neutral merchant name.
